“Since middle school, I’ve wanted to be a pediatrician. As a black man and the son of a refugee, I’m passionate about serving underrepresented communities in Minnesota. As a doctor, I hope to give them the best care possible to thrive and move forward. Scholarships gave me an opportunity I would not have otherwise had. It means a lot to have someone invest in you and believe in your education. I want to be able to make it worthwhile and return the gift.”
